As part of our continued support to the local community we have being apply for funding in hope to launch this project ….
An insight into what the programme will do…..
Our project will support 24 unemployed adults in Stockton to access a 12‑week holistic training programme covering beauty therapy, self‑care & well‑being practices, and essential life / employability skills. Upon completion, participants will transition to volunteer roles, delivering one‑to‑one well‑being services to 60 vulnerable people (e.g. elderly, isolated, homeless) in the most deprived wards (Stockton Town Centre, Newtown). Services will be delivered in community venues and via home visits to ensure reach. Participants will receive ongoing mentoring, support, and capacity building. We will work with local community partners (Catalyst Stockton, Starfish, Newtown Community Resource Centre, Ragworth Neighbourhood Centre) for outreach, participant referral, and service delivery. Feedback loops, evaluation surveys and case studies will enable us to learn and refine during the project period. We anticipate that the ripple effect—skills, confidence, social connection—will strengthen community cohesion, reduce isolation, and enhance mental well‑being locally.
We have previously ran projects through many different suppliers helping hundreds of people access community funds
