Beauty Trainer Vacancy (16 hours) 

Total Hair and Beauty Training Academy are on the lookout for a confident Beauty Therapy Trainer who will become a credit to Total and offer our students a fun, friendly and inspiring experience.

You must have Certificate in Education, NVQ in the area in which you would like to teach and at least 5 years’ experience in the beauty industry.  IT skills are also essential, and the ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.

Please do NOT send a CV to become a trainer at Total unless...

▪️You have a minimum of five years industry experience
▪️You have your Cert Ed or PGCE or BA education studies (optional assessors, IV quals)
▪️You can teach! Teaching can sometimes seem like a safe option, it is not! You must have charisma, patience and an in-depth knowledge of your subject area.
▪️You know your subject area 
▪️You are also well rehearsed in the practical side of beauty, Total is a very hands-on environment!

Continued Professional Development (CPD) 

At Total you must have your finger on the pulse. You will be educating people to an incredibly high standard and will be their first port of call in any areas they could potentially be struggling in. It is imperative that you keep up to date with what is going on in the beauty industry. 

All staff at Total are required to attend regular CPD courses and we encourage staff members to apply for courses that will assist them in becoming even better tutors!
